Do you need a car in Switzerland?
Switzerland has excellent public transport. A car is useful for:
- Rural or mountain living
- Family with young children
- Frequent off-peak business travel
- Leisure (skiing, hiking, weekends)
But in cities (Zurich, Geneva, Lausanne, Basel) it's often more expensive and less practical than PT + car-sharing (Mobility).
